Hey -- Anonymous! Thanks for your kind words earlier. I had to take down the other post because the video burped so I lost your comments. Speaking of burping, if you're who I think you are, your baby should be about one?! I hope all is well with your family!!

Wow, that was fantastic. Thank you so much for posting that. What a reception these folks will have.

My mom sent this to me in an email yesterday. I have PMS so I cried about it. Ah to be young and just getting married again. (But I guess I'd have to give up my kids and so NO!)

Mary,

Yes, that would be me, and the baby is in fact going on one. Great memory. Lacking a blog, any discernible handle, how did you know?

You've had some very beautiful posts over the year, particularly evocative words on the passage of time, changing seasons, children growing. I'll remember you holding Merrick on a moon-filled night, the same snow covered tree taken again later in a glorious canopy of green.

I'm glad to see you and your family are thriving.

That was so wonderful! One should be so lucky to have such fun-loving, adventurous and fantastic family and friends. What a memory! Thanks for sharing!

These people are actually in St. Paul and I guess the youtube video is now getting so much attention that they were on the Today show!

and my dear Anonymous: You have a very distinctive voice. I guess it's the writing teacher in me. Sometimes - not always - I can tell who's talking to me by their writing voice. Yours is quite lovely :-).

Mary,

Thank you.

I've still believe if we lived closer, we would become fast friends. At times, while reading, I'm astounded by the similarities in ideas, in a few personal and professional experiences.

And this is how I found you. You had posted a comment on another blog, I read it and felt immediately this connectivity of ideas.

Thank you for writing.

That video has gone viral -- this is the second time I have seen it in 20 minutes. It is especially awesome as a wedding video.

I LOVE this video! It actually makes me cry- even more so than some fussy "Here Comes the Bride" bride entrance.
