Sisterhood

The Matron has noted that all of her 'foll0wers' are female.

Comments? Let's just note that women rule. She's not sure if this a general blog trend or specific to her blog. But duly noted.

Thanks, women!

Things are tight lately (family stuff, work, and a cold that rivals smallpox, etc) but can she make a recommendation to the women willing to visit another mom, even via internet?

Read Woman on the Edge of Time. Big recommendation. It's dated -- you'll see the seventies mentality-- but there's a universal feminist sensibility that still resounds.

She knows it's slim as of late. But, as one of the dear readers posted, why apologize for free prose? That's where she's coming from, post-cold medicine : -).

Read that for my ecofeminism class. Loved it.

Here's an idea: why don't you create a list of your favorite reads in a sidebar of your blog? You can add your favorites as you remember them & I can easily find them when I have time to read!

I should hunt it down.

I just ordered "Woman on the edge of time" from Paperbackswap. Thanks for the recommendation!

I will look up that book. Bloggers never need to apologize for not writing, especially those with colds, kids, jobs et al. I love reading anytime you post but certainly do not expect it. Feel better soon!

Ah, I do love my readers! Thank you friends! And MJ -- that's a terrific idea. My semester ends in two weeks and once that's over, I'll definitely set up a reading list.

Not quite all your followers are female. I still check in pretty regularly, but I resist things like the google friend connect because of a deep-rooted fear of having to fill out forms.

Best wishes. Sam is transferring to Central next year, by the way.
