Check out the three years and nearly over 1100 posts before. But she needs respite. Back on Thursday, but for now, there's a psychological and creative lull. Can we remember those 1.4 posts a day for three years, just for the fun of it? Someone needs another day or two off.
Adoration, appreciated.

I always feel bad when bloggers feel they owe readers apologies for not having posted. Why do we women burden ourselves with so much guilt? I actually feel guilty sometimes for taking such pleasure in other people's blogs when I'm unwilling to write one myself.
Last I checked, we weren't paying admission. No judgment, no worries. Live your life! We'll be here and happy to hear from you whenever the spirit moves you and the schedule allows. (That's the beauty of Google Reader, right?)
Happy new year to you, dear Matron, and to your whole gang. See ya when we see ya.
You are allowed to take a vacation! That being said, I would love to read more of your book!
Take all the time you need. We won't forget you. You are bookmarked. This little sign of life is nice, though. It's good that your thoughts are with us.
I've been feeling the same way over in my corner of the world. I haven't even had the urge to blog about why I'm not posting!
But if I need a "fix" I'll be sure to go nosing through your archives. :)
You guys rock -- and *m*, you're right. Women are always apologizing. I do it too!
Heck, teenage angst is enough of a reason to check out. Hope the whining ceases--or that you at least have good cheese to go with it.
We'll see you when we see you. Take what time you need. Take care!
Love you. Blogs are personal; update when you can. We'll be here.
Whenever you return, I'll be here. I always enjoy your take on life. I'm suffering a bit of blogging block myself.
The blogging block afflicted me much of last year. Take some time. When you come back, we are here.
At least enjoy a glass of wine with the whining. I haven't posted in a week plus so I'm not throwing any stones... Enjoy your reprieve as best as possible.
Adoration sent.
Take a break, you'll come back refreshed! Sometimes other things in our lives take priority.
y'know, some of the best bloggers disappear for days and weeks. so do I, although I never apologize, never explain. have a good break! we'll be here waiting.
Hi Matron - I'm a Minnesota Partner in Crime and stumbled onto your blog through KitchenBlogic. Just sayin' I've been having blogging block issues also - it's got to be this horrid winter we're having - enough to get anybody/everybody down.
i'm only blogging once or twice a week these days. think quality! not quantity!
