(check out the guy with sun-glasses in the middle)
To the people concerned about government getting overly involved in health care: too late! Can you say Medicaid, Medicare, Minnesota Care, Federal Drug Administration, Social Security (supporting the aging and disabled), and all those government agencies that monitor and regulate health insurance and health care corporations.
Don't EVEN get her going on this or she might start up on the whole privacy issue too. It no longer exists -- privacy, that is -- at least not in its traditional definition. We are all five minutes (or clicks for the seasoned) from complete unvieling.
Ouch!
Sorry. She just fell off the soapbox.

I'm with the guy with the sunglasses. Hope you weren't hurt when you fell off that soapbox, because everybody knows there is no health care in America.
Climb back on that soapbox anytime you want, Matron.
I think you need to get a larger soapbox...we're standing in line behind you waiting for our turn.
I'm in line with Mrs. G.
What is crazy is people saying in almost the same breath "gov't-run health care is lousy" and "don't touch our Medicare"! What's up with that?
Obama needs to replace Gibbs - he's not good enough. And he needs a few people on his team to handle the health reform PR a lot better. Sheesh - I could do a better job myself.
Great comment on NPR's "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" last week. Host said, "What are they so mad about? They're mad that the government wants to give them FREE HEALTHCARE. (audience laughter) Turns out they have the motto, 'Give me Liberty AND give me death.'" (audience and me hysterical laughter and applause)
By the way, I so want to make that sign and go be that guy in the crowd for real.
YES!
that is all.
I don't understand politics, especially American politics, but when I watched the Sicko documentary, it put me off ever, ever living in the US.
Ha! That sign is great! I'm with y'all in that line to get on the soapbox.
I'm just waiting until the dust and feathers settle and see what we end up with.
