She tapped three times and 27,400 miles and all dreams came true. After a two week epic family road trip to the East Coast and many sites beyond, all three children are sound asleep, spent, in their beds.
More creative stuff tomorrow.
Tonight?
Rest.
Rest.
Thanks for being here for the journey and beyond. . .

But it was a wonderful road trip and made me think it must be time for me to take another road trip. I have friends and family across the USA...it might be fun.
Ah, there's no place like home, Aunty Em. I agree with you about Niagara Falls. We went there a few years ago and I was appalled at the commercialism. Perhaps that is nothing new (didn't Mark Twain write about it?). But there is a park. I think it's past the Butterfly Sanctuary. We got away from the kitsch and went for a hike in the woods. It was beautiful, and nearly deserted except for an art student who was painting a nature scene. An idyllic and precious find. But maybe you already have things like that right around the corner from you in Minnesota.
I'm glad you're home safe and sound!
Welcome back!
Isn' your own bed the most wonderful thing after a long trip?!? Your own pillow is quite a treat, too.
How you know a place is really home?
When it feels good to head back to it.
Welcome home!
