The Matron is sad about the demise of the Women's Colony, her online magazine. If you're not a regular reader, go to www.womenscolonysquarespace.com tomorrow and read the fareawells.
Yours truly will be back on Tuesday with astounding news about her inability to answer her new cell phone. Or to dial. Or check email. Or turn it on. . . .

Hi.
I am sad too. It's like it's graduation day and nobody signed my yearbook.

I am very sad.
This news made me weep a little.
I got a new cell phone too--my old one was almost 8 years old--this new one could so easily get lost--it's that much smaller!
I'd been consoling myself decently well until a few minutes ago, when I clicked onto "The ORIGINAL Women's Colony." Now I'm sad all over again.
MM, I don't know if I'm blind or what, but I can't find your email address. Can you click on my blogger account and contact me? I'm getting in touch with all the former, regular contributors to TWC about their interest in TWC 2.0.
Thanks, Susan
Matron, I am SO GLAD you have a personal blog! You're one of my favorite writers on the original WC. Your posts on hilarious things your students say make my month!
I'm sad too. But I've bookmarked your blog, so I can visit.
