The real post will be coming later tonight but she wants to let everyone know that she has stood down from the command post and is letting her son find his way through junior high school.
Thank God this era lasted two days instead of the two years ( or so) of the neurotic new parent phase.
Whew, goes the Matron!
Next post: politics!

Well done Matron. You rock.
Good for you! I'm interested in your perspective of Palin's speech last night.
Thank goodness.
Bring on the politics; I'm dying here.
Getting a grip can be so freeing, can't it?
And? I do recognize your use of hyperbole. Well done, Matron.
We put our boy on the bus today for his 10-day class trip and I feel heartsick and lonesome for him - already!
I can't wait to hear politics - I've been writing today too just to get my thoughts on paper so I can get them out of my head... but I'm getting sooooo sick of the people who have invaded our city!
I can't wait to hear a Minnesota reaction to the festivities.
See?? Doesn't that feel better?? I'm keeping the happy tablets close at hand if you feel the need to hover again. I'll be the one in scrubs walking up your driveway with the Nurse Ratched smile:>)
Good for you to step down. ;)
Politics...OY, and I'm not even Jewish. Scary things afoot.
Breathe... and let go.... breathe....and let go....breathe
Two days? Impressive. Now, if I only I knew what you "stepped down" from. A ledge? A soapbox? Head PTA?
Yep, I'd love to hear your take on tonight's unfestivities. I just blogged about this. I have so far felt little desire to blog about politics, but the whole GOP show is so. . .odd.
Anyhoo, congrats on relaxing on the junior high guard duty!
...and breathe!
Well done for not being a helicopter mother!
