Stryker: "Why are you picking us up early from school, Mom?"
Me: "Because I was right here, running errands and didn't want to hang out and kill 20 minutes when I'm so behind and so stressed that I feel like either crying, screaming or throwing up."
Stryker: "HA! My master plan is finally working!"

Forget the funny boy - are you ok? Your anxiety just bled through the page...
Take care, Ms. Matron.
Take up knitting - and keep it in the car.
Some days I hope that I get to school that early so I can read, or write while I'm waiting!
Oh MM, I think you need a holiday, I will pick you up from the airport...
Sometimes a kid's perspective is just the right medicine. He knows how to make his mom smile.
"MOM, you're early!"
"MOM, you're late!"
I can't ever get it right.
I finally asked the twins, when EXACTLY am I supposed to arrive? I'm early / late according to who's schedule?
Sometimes it helps me to sing the Bob Marley song, in my head, "Every little thing, is gonna be alright. Don't worry, about a thing; cause every little thing, is gonna be alright." That's about all I know of the lyrics but that's the "important" part so... I sing it over and over and over again.
Remember and know that, in the end, it all gets done and every little thing is gonna be alright.
I'm loving this kid!
But sorry to hear you're so stressed...
