  1. Hi, MM, thanks for dropping by my blog earlier. I will confess that I wasn't sure, initially, how to respond to your comment -- I thought you might have been being sarcastic. But your link here suggests otherwise, and I'm glad.

    You should consider writing one of the lessons for girls yourself. Your daughter seems very creative and innovative -- I'm sure there's a lesson there waiting to be written.

    The key to effective SSR is to properly match reading levels of the text to reading levels of the student, while maintaining some semblance of student choice. Learn how to match reading levels of texts to reading levels of your students without time-consuming assessments. Also, learn how much independent reading is needed to make grade to grade progress.
