When I had my gallbladder attack when Nora was 3 months old, I was in the hospital for 4 days before they figured it out. I think they thought I was either depressed (post-partum) or they really couldn't figure it out, although I had the classic presentation for gallbladder issues. It was a blessing that your carcinoid started in your appendix so they at least looked at IT and took it out.
